I see Stewart is on and I think "Oh, nice, Stewart is on" Then I see that he posted and now I am scared! then I see WHAT he posted and I nearly spit my coffee out all over my monitor! THANKS STEWART!! I could barely type, I felt sick all day, still feel off! But I keep thinking how incredibly happy Billy must be right now. I remember when my first child, a son was born and how excited I was. It's amazing, and I know Billy will be a great daddy. "Why's he looking at me like that?" Because I'm still relatively new to LOTR and Billy etc., I haven't had the chance to let myself "fall TOO hard" for him yet-and to be perfectly honest with you, I AM kind of glad that he became a daddy before I did fall hard because I KNOW how heartbreaking that can feel . But in my case, several years ago, I was--ok--still am, I admit--"in love" with a musician whom I ended up finding out that he had a 6/7year old son!!! Talk about keeping a secret!!! Actually I probably COULD have found out sooner, it's just that by that stage, I figured that if I hadn't heard that he had kids I probably never would hear and he must not have any! So what a SHOCK and STUNNER that was for ME to find out! My heart just dropped like a rock to the bottom of my stomach, I swear. I don't remember how long it took me to accept that fact, but I was able to and I find that I still "like" the guy as much as I ever did! "Home is behind the world ahead. After this news, I'm not capable of coherent thought processes WOW!!! Is this for real? yep, posted by Stewart, it's for real WOW!!! How did they keep it secret all this time? It explains why we haven't seen Ali in quite a while. WOW!!! Billy's a dad! Dom's an "uncle"! Flashes back to pics of Billy shopping for baby clothes, and Dom's comment about "a friend" having a baby soon WOW!!! This is just fantastic news. I'm thrilled for both Billy and Ali, and wish them and little Jack all the best. And a big thanks to Stewart for coming here to post the news personally. That was a lovely thing to do. Cheers to all! And to Jack William Boyd! (Ahhhhh!! Billy singing his son to sleep!! Ahhhhhh!! )

I'm surprised they were able to keep it a secret through the whole pregnancy but yet very pleased about it, for a couple of reasons. First, they were able to maintain their privacy and not have anyone other than family and friends know their secret -- especially for their first child. And secondly, we didn't have to be on pins and needles about it for months on end . Just check the board one day, and bam! Billy and Ali have had a baby! Can't get any easier than that! And you're so right about the hindsight: -- All the clues mentioned in my previous post -- Plus, there were no pictures of Ali when Orli and Kate came to town last week -- And it may be why Billy isn't doing any movies and could commit well in advance to all the conventions
