BILLY'S YEAR IN WORDS AND PICTURES.

It's that time of the year again folks. With my thanks to Jan for the research and to Penny for the encouragement. The BBB is proud to present this to you for the second year running. For those who don't know this is a month by month account of what Billy has been up to during 2006. We will run a month at a time right up to, and including New Year's Eve. Just a few minor changes this year, (mainly for my sanity). No links to articles, because we already have a very good thread for those. So it is just words and pictures this time. Also, there are a couple of months (and only a couple) where there was very little news. Some months were very crowded, so I will either fill in those months with a few general Billy pics, that we know are favourites, or carry on pics from the month before. Okay?

Without further ado, let's get this show on the road.

JANUARY

Billy got us off to a very good start with this little message from him on the official website.

Happy New Year

Firstly HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! and all the best for 2006. Lang May Yer Lumb Reek as some may say here in Scotland, and thanks to everyone who sent such lovely cards and presents, it really is an amazing thing to be
sent kind thoughts from all over the world and I cannot thank you all enough.

I am looking forward to meeting some of the people who have wrote to me at the ORC celebration in California and hopefully at the Charity breakfast which will be a fun morning I'm sure ( hope they have
french toast without sugar).

In any case any money we raise will be much appreciated by the Epilepsy Connection and I can assure you they do incredible work and are very helpfull to many many people. To make sure there is some exciting bidding I will be bringing some one off items from my secret closet ( which incidentally has a secret passage which leads directly to Narnia).

Thank you all again and I will be answering some of the questions that came through very soon ( as soon as I find a pen that works) .

The first visual sighting of the year was on the 9th. Dom was appearing on the Kimmel Show and Billy turned up backstage.

From 22-23rd January Billy was one of the guests at Orc. Incidentally, the BBB was nominated there for best fansite.

At the end of the convention Billy, Elijah and Dom went to the World Without Sundays gig at a pub nearby.

FEBRUARY

I may well be cheating here but these pictures, I think came just after Orc. Other than this February seemingly was a very quiet month for Billy. These came to light and cause quite a bit of speculation in fandom as to whom he was looking at, and indeed buying baby clothes for.

Here's the full spam.

BILLY SHOPPING AT KITSON KIDS, BEVERLEY HILLS.

Billy paid a short visit to Oslo in February and these pics emerged.

MARCH

Billy narrated a documentary called "Happy Birthday Wullie" made by Scottish TV to celebrate the 80th birthday of the Oor Wullie strip cartoon.

He was named as a special Ambassador for the Hans Christian Andersen festival to be held in Scotland, and these lovely photos emerged of his visit to the Fairytale Exhibition in Edinburgh.

Billy played the main role in a unique piece of live theatre. This was called Home and took place at Soutra Place in Glasgow.

I'd like to point out that the Home production actually took place in February but I decided to carry it over from yesterday!!!.

Finally. The BBB is proud to present again an exclusive (please do not post elsewhere). I purchased these two last photos taken as publicity for the Home production, and Billy was kind enough to autograph them for us.

His autograph on that last picture is just about the funniest thing I've ever seen. It's definitely the funniest celeb autograph in the world. LOL

Thank you. Now to April, which was a very quiet month wasn't it? So what did Billy get up to this month?

APRIL

Pictures emerged of Orlando and Kate paying a visit to Billy in Glasgow. The big question that came out of them was "Where was Ali?"

Towards the end of the month fandom erupted after this little posting on the official website

Beautiful Bouncing

Billy and Ali are delighted to announce the birth of their son, Jack William Boyd. Jack was born on the 26th April and weighed in at very healthy 6lbs 10oz. Both mother and child are doing very, very well and Billy is exceptionally proud of them both. Great happiness!
