Production continues apace on the new Renga movie DOMINATOR X, based on the original manga by Alan Grant and Tony Luke, with special guest designer Yasushi Nirasawa. DOMINATOR X stars the voices of Billy Boyd, Doug Bradley, Patrick Bergin, Ian Ogilvy, Liza Goddard and many more (see news below for more details). Top comic artist (and Eisner Award-winner) Glenn Fabry has just delivered this wonderful Dominator poster to us (at right), which shows the latest version of Dominator as he appears in the new film. This is the same incarnation whose new manga adventures will be appearing in Heavy Metal Magazine and the Judge Dredd Megazine in 2007. This poster will be made available as a limited edition run signed by the artist - details soon. DOMINATOR X is directed by Tony Luke, and produced by Simon Moorhead, whose most recent production was the Neil Gaiman / Dave McKean feature MIRRORMASK. Production is currently underway at the Renga Media animation studio in Brighton, with contributions by other notable design and production studios in Japan and the US. For the Brits keep an eye out on Jonathan Ross Film 2006/7. He has already spoke about this back in February of this year apparently. I bet there will be more. Jonathan loves Billy!!

(I need an "I feel stuffy and old" smiley) I don't like this stuff with characters that look like something out of a bondage-porn nightmare. I suppose it's a good career move as this stuff is popular, and Billy most likely likes it, but I wish he wasn't doing it. I felt the same way about Elijah doing "Sin City". I don't have a problem with them doing rough characters, but to me this stuff is way over the top. The photo of him acting out his part is really cool though I hope it does well for him and I hope it is shown where all who want to see it can. Last Edited By: PearlTook 12/11/06 22:31:24.
